Me at the GARDEN TOMB!...it was AMAZING!

I don't have a ton fo time to explain everything for this week...but here are some pictures from when I went to the Garden Tomb. It was such an incredible and power memory. There were lots of tours there from Nigeria when we went. And after our tour, our group sang some hymns about Christ. Then next thing I know, the people from the Nigeria were crying and taking pictures of us singing. And then joined along. It was so cool. Tomorrow, ( sunday ) I leave for EGYPT! I am so excited! I can't wait! This week in school was killer, and we crammed in so much becauser were going to be gone for a week playing! But now we just go have fun in Egypt. I am so excited! I get to ride a Camel! =) Don't worry I will take lots of pictures...well I will write more later. I love all of you and miss ya'll!

"Oh Jerusalem, Oh Jerusalem"

Little Boy Playing in the streets...

The DOME OF THE ROCK Today!

Well this week has been mad crazy. Never have I been so Tired and So busy, going going going every second. This week we went on our first class field trip to a bunch of churches and sites. Then on the start of SHABBOT we went to the WESTERN WALL ( WAILING WALL ) It was such a highlight. i LOVED IT. It was so incredible to me as I watched these people of their culture be so devoted to what they believe. It was so amazing to me. These people put so much heart into their prayers. It is impossible to not feel the spirit a little bit as you go ( yes i did cry ) it was such a powerful moment. After I went up to the wall I could hear all this singing and chanting. It was my classmates in a huge circle dancing and singing with some of the jewish women. It was so awesome! I joined and got SO INTO IT. The jewish people are so wonderful and welcoming. I loved that night being apart of it. Then on Shabbot after church, while most people go home and sleep or relax....I got to go to the Garden of Gethsemane and Orson Hyde Gardens. WoW am I lucky!?!? It was so awesome. Only in Jerusalem! It was in walking distance ( lots of hills ) and just so beautiful. A very cool moment for me. When I was there, I was at so much peace and reasurance. I am starting to really understand the Atonement better now. As I sat in the Orson Hyde Gardens I thought of Christ and the picture where he is overlooking the city of Jerusalem, and he says " Oh Jerusalem, Oh Jerusalem" I can only imagine thoughts that ran through his head ad he looked at the city of his people. Well today ( Sunday ) it was a first full free day! i went into the city for a long time. We started out doing a tour on top of all the city walls. It was cool to walk on top and see the whole city. We seriously walked well over 10 miles today! Not even kidding! I went to the Jewish Quarters, Old city, West Jerusalem, The Windmill and Gardens overlooking the city, and the mall. We went so many places today it was fun! But when I came home all of us were just dead. but it was worth it! I am having way fun here ( except the classes..AKA HOMEWORK! there is lots when i just want to play. hehe. ) But we are getting ready for Egypt now! YAY i am SO excited! We leave in a week! I cannot wait! Anyways, thats everything in a nutshell, the basics. I miss ya'll and America. But am having a blast here! Love all ya'll!

Shalom! From the Holy Land!

Out Shopping On the Streets in the Old city !

My friend Matt and I waiting to go on the " TIME ELEVATOR" a ride kind of like the star wars one in Disney World where u move in your chair as u watch a screen! It was sooo fun!

My friend Shelby and I on the bus ride to our first destination of our field trip!
My view that I wake up to everyday...yea It's AMAZING!

Shalom! ( Hello in Hebrew )Well, about a billion people asked me set one of these up while I am here in Israel. And since it is so much easier to tell my adventures this way rather then tons of emails, I gave in and set one up. I am having the time of my life here! This is one of the most beautiful places ever. Yesterday I went on my first full day of field trips. It was way cool, and WAYYYY COLD! we went up a few mountains overlooking differnt areas like Bethlehem and a to what claims to be " where King Solomon" was buried. The wind was blowing SO HARD! I have been through the city several times with classmates and LOVE IT! Sometimes we are forbidden to go to the Old City and East Jerusalem for security. They watch us very tightly. I LOVE SHOPPING HERE! I for sure have spent some money here...I love trying to bargin with the shop keepers. I have alreay bought lots....and continue to want to buy things. :) One thing that I love here is the beautiful linens they sell of pillows, curtains, duvets, and blankets. They are incredible.
I have already had my first propsal here! Hah! I am keeping record trying to see if I can match up to my sister here who had 33, when she was here 10 years ago! Yep, I was offered to " Marry rich....10 camels and 3 cats! " I found it quite funny. Anyways, I have made so many friends here that I have such a connection with. People I know I am suppose to meet, and will know for a long, long time. The spirit here is so strong and powerful! Words cannot express and give credit that this sacred place deserves. Shabbot ( Saterday which is our Holy Day that we worship Sunday ) is incredible in the builing that we have it it. We overlook huge 2 story windows that over look the entire city of Jerusalem. It is breath taking. I also sing in the choir here, which is VERY WELL KNOWN here. And we do sound quite good. I am so happy to be able to use that talent again. I also have received a calling!! I am a PRIMARY TEACHER for the sunbeams!! Oh my I am excited!!! I met my 3 little ones last week and was in love! One of my little girls loves " anything PINK and PRINCESS" so I know we will get along just GREAT! I am very excited!
This place has already made me a better person. I already have grown so much in the Gospel. I have loved studing the Old Testament, especially my favorite-Rebekah! ( Genesis 24 ...read it! ) There is power in this book just like in the Book of Mormon. I love it here so much. I know I am suppose to be here! This expierience for me is so important. I love it here, but do miss all Ya'll back home! I hope things are going well! Feel free to email me at Fairytales011@aol.com. Have a great one!
